2010 Election Recommendations

Governor: Jerry Brown (Yes, Jerry Brown – this will be the first time in my life I have voted for a Democrat. Whitman is a RINO, at least Brown has shown by his actions that he believes in the Constitution and is responsive to the people. Whitman fails on both counts and disagrees with Christians on most social issues. In addition she was VERY liberal in her actions at eBay.)

Lieutenant Governor: Abel Maldonado (Do you want the Mayor of San Francisco to be next in line for Governor? Even Jerry Brown has criticized Gavin Newsom for his “sanctuary city” policy that recently resulted in an illegal alien being free to murder three people.)

Secretary of State: Damon Dunn

Controller: Tony Strickland

Treasurer: Mimi Walters

Attorney General: Steve Cooley (Kamala Harris another San Francisco politician would be a disaster for business, religious freedom and gun rights. If elected, she would be in a position to harass both conservative Christians and gun owners. She MUST be stopped.)

Insurance Commissioner: Mike Villines

BOE 2nd District: George Runner

U.S. Senator: Carly Fiornia (A REAL Conservative)

U.S. Representative: Tom McClintock

State Senate; Ted Gaines

State Assembly: Ted Gaines (Yes he is running for both offices, need to vote for him twice)

Yes on Court Justices (We will not get any better out of Brown if he wins.)

Superintendent of Public Instruction: Larry Aceves ( I have met and worked with Tom Torlakson – he is left wing and a snake.)

El Dorado Union High School District: Kevin Brown, Janice Bothwell, Robert Van Gilder

Rescue Union School District Board: Marilyn Scott, Ellen Driscoll, Susanna George

Cameron Park CSD: Scott McNeil, Shiva Frentzen, Barbara J. Rodgers

Sheriff – Coroner – Public Administrator: John D’Agostini - I have met John more than once, he will make a great Sheriff!

Prop 19 NO – Poorly written and a very bad way to legalize pot. Legislature will not be able to fix the problems because it will be part of the state constitution.

Prop 20 NO – Do you want the most important decisions made in our state to be made by an unaccountable commission?

Prop 21 NO – NO NEW TAXES, PERIOD. Current funds could be used to keep parks open – this new tax will let the politicians spend money elsewhere. Taxes for a “good cause” are just a gimmick.

Prop 22 – YES

Prop 23 – YES We do not need anything else that makes California business hostile.

Prop 24 – NO We need to keep one of the few things that makes it easier for business to operate in California!

Prop 25 NO, NO, NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - This is a VERY DECPTIVE proposition that will lower the votes required to pass a budget. If passed, taxes WILL be increased every year.

Prop 26 – YES This will stop government from raising taxes and calling it a “fee”.

Prop 27 YES

El Dorado County Measure G – YES
